I bought a 9.2 acre parcel for condos in Mammoth Lakes in 1997. I opened escrow and the city did not want an outsider Developer to build condos. So they decided to “decline” my application for a condo project on this parcel. After the escrow crumbled due to the city’s conflict of interest, they then bought the property for a park & conservation. W… T… F!!!! I’m glad the cronies in this Democratic P.O.S Liberal city got “phucked” royally! I have been a skier/boarder there since 1988! Owner of property since 1989. Owned 4 properties and sold them in 2004-2005 and made a NASTY NASTY IRR KILLING!!! I was so phricken tired of the City politics, I’m glad the city screwed up & the world now knows how corrupt they are and how Stupid and Dumb the City managers, Council & Mayors are…. all “scum bucket stupid hill billy trash olive size brains”

Fascinating article. I was aware of the BK filing but had never seen anything with this much detail. I am glad when cities are required to honor their contracts.

Great article! We must remember it’s the ‘collective money illusion” between the city leaders We Elect & We the citizens. We need to wake up in CaLifornia and stop electing these fools! There is definitely a pattern of once great cities, election of disastrous politicians consumed with their own power and pensions that now look like Detroit. We owe it to future generations to vote wisely.
