Trying to submit written offers to Reo agents is near impossible
Many don’t put listings in the MLS. Seeking instead to advertise on other public sites and not exposing listings to Realtors or offering a commission. Thus listing go stale as they attempt to double pop or cut Realtor commission entirely. I try to contact the agents by phone, fax and email, but my contact and written offers are ignored. My clients are frustraited as I am. Darrell, you are not alone. Some of the REO agents unfair business practices should be reported to the DRE and the DRE needs to take an action against their licenses as in revocation or suspensions. The local associations of Realtors also need to step up to the plate and kick some ass. Only then will this crap come to a resolution that will be fair to sellers and agents alike.
